The Perfect Hard Boiled Egg
To make the perfect hard-boiled egg, place the eggs in a saucepan filled with water. Place the saucepan on high heat and bring to a boil. As soon as the water comes to a boil, reduce the heat to a simmer and set a timer for 10 minutes. When the timer goes off, remove the eggs from the hot water and place them in an ice bath. The yolk will be perfectly cooked and there will be no sign of a green ring around the yolk.
